Education
I will be a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga this fall. I am an English Writing major, minoring in communication, and will be going to graduate school upon completion of my undergraduate degree. My desired occupation after college is to be a book editor for a major publishing company.
Experience
I currently work at UTC's Writing Center where I assist students in all steps of the writing process. I help them with brainstorming and making outlines, organization of ideas, grammar, and final revision. I will never write a paper for an individual, but I am more than willing to help in all aspects pertaining to his or her paper. I attempt to teach students writing skills they can apply to future papers. I have an overall GPA of 3.89 and have completed 39 hours of English classes in my college career so far. I have also completed an internship with C&R Press, a local publishing company. I was in charge of promoting one of their annual contests and a book of one of their new authors.
